New Hull Warranty Page

NEW HULL WARRANTY

   Rookie Boats of MS, LLC warrants each new Rookie boat to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal, recommended us for a period of one year from the date of delivery to the retail purchaser.  Each new Rookie boat hull is warranted to be free from structural defects in material and workmanship under normal, recommended use for a period of five years from the date of delivery to the original purchase.  The hull consists of all aluminum materials and structural members.

   This warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers.

   For defects appearing during these periods, warranty repairs will be made without charge for materials or labor by Rookie Boats of MS, LLC at their place  of business, or at Rookie Boats of MS, LLC’s option by an authorized  Rookie Boats of MS, LLC dealer.  Transportation cost to and from the factory are the responsibility of the owner, and all repairs made under the terms of this warranty must be pre-approved by authorized Rookie Boats of MS, LLC trained personnel, whose decision shall be final.  Rookie Boats of MS, LLC is obligated only to repair or replace defective part or  parts and no breach of warranty shall be cause for cancellation or rescission of the contract of sale of any Rookie  Boats of MS, LLC boat.

  This warranty does not cover any Rookie boat that has been subject to misuse, neglect, negligence, or accident, or that has been operated for racing purposes.  The warranty does not cover any Rookie boat that has been altered or modified so as to adversely affect its operation, performance, or durability.  In addition, the warranty does not extend to repair made necessary by normal wear  or use of parts or accessories, which are incompatible with or adversely affect the boat’s durability.

   This warranty does not apply to equipment and accessories not manufactured  by Rookie Boats of MS, LLC as these are covered by warranties of the manufacturer supplying these units.

   This warranty does not apply to windshield breakage, paint/interior lining or upholstery damage or failure, nor damage caused by external force.

   All implied warranties are limited to the duration to the appropriate one or five year period of this express warranty and are totally excluded thereafter.

   Rookie Boats of MS, LLC shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages of any sort or nature.

   Rookie Boats of MS, LLC reserves the right to change or improve the design of any Rookie boat without assuming and obligations to modify any Rookie boat previously manufactured.
